The Most Famous Sex Tapes And Racey Photos Featuring Real Celebrities
Kim Kardashian
Arguably the most famous celebrity sex tape of all time, Kim Kardashian’s 2002 sex vid with Ray J turned this relative nobody into a household name. The social media star sued Vivid Entertainment, who released the video, but later settled for $USD 5 million ($AUD 7.4 million). Kardashian turned her life around and is now one of the most successful media personalities in the world.
Paris Hilton
Kardashian’s ex-BFF Paris Hilton makes the list as well with her 2004 pornographic vid 1 Night in Paris. While Hilton was aware of being filmed, she did not consent to the video being leaked, especially as it was released after her The Simple Life show debuted. Hilton sued Salomon, the video’s director and male participant, for $USD 400,000 ($AUD 592,000).
Pamela Anderson
Anderson and then-husband Tommy Lee filmed a sex tape on their honeymoon, but the video was then stolen from their home and sold to distribution company Internet Entertainment Group. The Baywatch star also had another video with Bret Michaels released on the internet.
Farrah Abraham
When people found out that Teen Mom’s Farrah Abraham and James Deen had a sex tape together, Abraham thought she had no choice but to lean into it. Instead of trying to prevent Vivid Entertainment from releasing the video, she made a deal with them and earned a cool seven-figure settlement for the rights to the sex video.
While Abraham says her career wasn’t hindered by the sex tape, she did feel upset that Deen betrayed her trust by leaking the news about the video in the first place.
Kate Ritchie
In 2000, rumours circulated that Home and Away star Kate Ritchie made a sex video with an ex-boyfriend. However, the rumours were never confirmed or even addressed by the soap opera star. Still, you can find screenshots of the alleged video tagged under her name online.
Blac Chyna
The model (who also happens to be Rob Kardashian’s ex-fiancee) said it was “humiliating” when a video of her going down on a mystery man became public. It was later revealed that the man in the video was Mechie, an ex-boyfriend of Chyna’s, who filmed her without her knowledge or consent.
Kaley Cuoco & Jennifer Lawrence
Kaley Cuoco of The Big Bang Theory fame was one of the unfortunate victims of ‘The Fappening’, a massive celebrity nudes leak in 2014. A-lister Jennifer Lawrence’s iCloud account was also one of more than 100 accounts targeted by the hacker.
Mel B
We can’t believe someone would try and victimise Scary Spice! Mel B revealed that she was traumatised after learning that her ex-husband Stephen Belafonte secretly filmed over 60 sex tapes without her knowledge. The former Spice Girl actually had to drop her domestic violence allegations to prevent the leak of the tapes.
Bella Thorne
The ex-Disney star was forced to leak her own naked pictures in June after a hacker threatened to release them. Most celebrities and friends supported her decision to take back the power – with the exception of Whoopi Goldberg, who unceremoniously blamed Thorne for taking nude pics in the first place. Shame on you, Whoopi!
Rob Lowe
The award-winning actor, producer, and director got into hot water when a sex tape of him having sex with a 16-year-old girl was released in 1988 (Lowe was 24). At the time, the age of consent in Georgia, where the video was recorded, was 14, but the legal age for appearing in a recording was 18.
Lowe was also seen in one of the first commercially-available celebrity sex videos, alongside friend Justin Mortt and with a young unidentified model named Jennifer. It took Lowe a couple of decades to revive his career.
Amber Rose
While we can’t find any definitive evidence that model Amber Rose has a sex tape, there sure a lot of videos where she allegedly hooks up with Nick Cannon and 21 Savage. The former stripper is no stranger to getting naked, and she even defended her friend Blac Chyna when the latter’s video was leaked.
Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband Ojani Noa tried to get revenge on his former wife by releasing their sex tape in the early 2000s, years after their amicable divorce in 1998. However, Lopez successfully blocked her ex from leaking the vids – although certain sites claim to have a copy.
Nicole Scherzinger
The former frontwoman of the Pussycat Dolls says that the release of her sex tape with ex-boyfriend Lewis Hamilton was “sexual violence” – an invasion of her privacy and a violation of her consent. The video itself is tame (no sex, just cuddling and kissing), but Scherzinger was rightly concerned about future (and raunchier) vids getting released.
Kendra Wilkinson
The ex-Playboy model (and one of Hugh Hefner’s former live-in girlfriends) filmed an adult video when she was just 18. But it didn’t get released by Vivid Entertainment until 2010, after Wilkinson was already married and had a child. She says the whole situation was “extremely embarrassing”, especially since she wasn’t able to block the video’s release in court.
Scarlett Johansson
If you find any sites that promise a free Scarlett Johansson sex scandal, don’t trust them – Hollywood’s highest-paid actress says that they’re most likely “deepfakes”, or video manipulations that superimpose her face on another person’s body to make it look like she’s in the video.
However, the Avengers star did have a nude photo leak in 2011, when naked pics of her were stolen from her phone and released. The hacker was tried, plead guilty, and sentenced to a decade in prison.
Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus is no stranger to getting down and dirty in her live performances or on camera, but the Black Mirror actress had her privacy invaded in 2017 when her intimate photos were released on a porn website dedicated to celebrities.
Rihanna
Even though Rihanna’s nude pics were posted in 2009 by an anonymous hacker, the singer and businesswoman didn’t let it get her down. She admitted it was “the worst thing” ever, but she also defended her choice to take the pictures in the first place. She explained, “If you don’t send your boyfriend naked pictures, then I feel bad for him.”
